
Mirko Leuzzi is a Rome-based artist, born in 1992, who began his artistic career in 2020, when painting became his primary means of expression. His work explores emotional dynamics and the complexities of human relationships, focusing on themes such as inner conflict and the challenges of communication.
In 2022, he made his debut with his first solo exhibition, Essere Pittura, curated by Gabriele Simongini, at Galleria Fidia Arte Moderna. In the same year, he participated in Arte in Nuvola with the gallery.
In 2023, he presented his second solo exhibition, Gli occhi per dirlo, curated by Adriana Polveroni, at Basile Contemporary in Rome. He also took part in artist residencies such as Costrizione Imperitura Vulnerabilia at Sebastiano Contemporary and Le mie mani, a project he conceived himself. He also participated in Arte in Nuvola with Basile Contemporary.
In 2024, he developed the second edition of Le mie mani and once again participated in Arte in Nuvola, with Basile Contemporary and Galleria Anna Marra.
In 2025, Leuzzi took part in the Investec Cape Town Art Fair (South Africa) and Art Paris (France), both with Galleria Anna Marra. In the same year, he presented his third solo exhibition, Fear of Solitude, at the gallery in Rome, following the third edition of the artist residency Le mie mani, a project he conceived to explore this theme. He later took part in the Mora Residency and will exhibit the works produced at Fama Art Fair, in northern Mexico. He will also be an artist in residence at Ateliers du Grütli in Geneva.
In 2026, he took part in the Felix Art Fair in Los Angeles and Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary in Palm Beach with Sobering Galerie, and participated again in Art Paris with Galleria Anna Marra.
