The project Le mie mani was born from Mirko Leuzzi’s idea of creating an artist residency that would allow him to deepen his research through the involvement of selected external participants, chosen via an open call, offering a unique and immersive experience.

Each residency focuses on a central theme, often psychological, developed in a dedicated space, away from the noise of the city.

The artist and the organizers select participants according to the criteria outlinedin the open call.

The second edition focused on exploring emotional states within dysfunctional relationships and the ambivalence of emotional bonds.
 

The reflections developed around this theme led to the creation of seven large-scale works, some of which were later presented in the solo exhibition at Galleria Anna Marra, Fear of Solitude, a project that brings into dialogue the research developed during the second and third editions of Le mie mani.
